Looking up once again Rainers brilliant information sources, the first VCSEL-tranciever-part-prototypes are to come at Q2. The finished market-ready Prototype of a complete VCSEL-Tranciever is announced at Q4 2016.
So it could be quite parallel, or it may indeed cause a delay for the Tranciever. Or the Tranciever project is accelerating and overtaking the detector. Maybe it will be a question of demand.
I don´t know the impact to the timelines, but I can imagine the impact to the product portfolio. To me it seems this detector fruit is hanging lower then everything else, so Poet almost has to bend down to reach it.
