Cd, have I got a question for you.

On October 12, Mark (LTGoldBull2) posted paragraph 154 (1) and (2) of the Canadian Business Corporations Act, which dealt with untrue statements made in proxy circulars. See: http://agoracom.com/ir/Noront/messag...

On the same basis as you have determined there may be a cause of action for libel, the same facts also permit the seeking of injuctive relief, which may include the striking of the Rosseau resolution from the agenda at the AGM (as I read 154 (1)(a)).

That would simply end the raid.

You'd need someone well versed in corporate law, and the presumably massive precedent history, so other than knowing it could be done, I'm at a total loss. Is there somebody you could ask for an opinion?

I know it's bloody expensive to go before the Superior Court of Justice, and the clock is ticking, but I think it's a strategy that Noront and shareholders might consider.
