Operationally the biggest issues confronting DL is one of economics and the scale of the operation. Hard to make money when you are just processing 2 inch wafers and to add to this the space was underutilized. Limited higher cost production due to wafer size and not enough machines to bring the plant to capacity. The company was primarily founded by academics out of NTU not industry people.
