Absolutely no argument there, Lar, and they are correct in their position on the matter. However that does not solve the problem. The airstrip scenario was meant to describe the fact that there is no direction coming from the authority that is responsible for providing it.

To date, the gov't's efforts have amounted to diddly squat. They have created a high paying position to oversee the area, and that position has been duly attentive to creating several assistant positions in order to better provide some sort of service in some unknown future time frame.

There is no doubt that this will all be a part of history in 10 years, and if that is what it takes, I am content to wait it out, but there are others, such as residents of Marten Falls, that would really like to see some benefit maybe this year or next, and who can blame them, when they are encouraged to make a little noise.
