Why not give them stock, held in escrow untill production milestones are achieved.

This is dilutive at first, but if the indians have the same intrest on resolving problems as investors and the company there would be more co operation, instead of confrontation.

The added cooperative invironmant would signal investors and the increase in share price would reduce the diltion in future placements... net effect being very positive and overall less dilutive.
