I think you underestimate the number of investors that have been waiting for a pivotal moment. If as you say you still believe the tech is a game changer and they announce a fully functioning VCSEL produced at high density in a fab I am pretty sure everyone and their uncle will want in but that is just me. Your guarded view is a good one to have. And no one knows when they can make such an announcement...could be very soon (and personally I would not find that surprising) now that they have parallel paths of supply and development taking place.
We all knew that POET was not going to be able to provide anything significant in an update on the VCSEL. How could they? Many of us talked about it here. So I am a little confused that you would not be encouraged by what they are reporting right now?
