As stated:
demonstrate alpha prototypes, engage potential customers with beta prototypes, demonstrate manufacturability and scalability, and complete qualification of these integrated devices in end-user applications. At each step, where appropriate, the company expects to provide updates on meaningful progress.
Up until this point in time there has not been a lot of news flow because with the epiwafer bottle neck they could not process the VCSEL.
So when we read the NR we tend to immediately assume there will be less news not more but that is in my opinion a first impression.
By the nature of the current activities there should be more news flow generated than there has been since they were constrained in their ability to develop the VCSEL.
Those constraints have been removed.
