Dash8400: The biggest fear I have is that the INTEL's of the world are not going to like POET taking them to the cleaners and will have something to say about it: what, exactly, I don't know.
That's why as far as I know POET Technologies doesn't talk with the Intels of this world but rather with the smaller, more specialized companies. The latter don't need to have or voice any general or philosophical opinions about silicon or gallium arsenide, they just want to increase their margins and/or gain market share by benefitting from the facts of much higher speed, much lower power consumption, and much lower manufacturing costs by much higher integration.
