what's not immediately understood is that typically, that is what happens already.
many of the hub leaders are in contact with each other quite frequently, and sometimes where geography permits, in person -- not just on the Internet.
tbh, I can't really recall a ban here in the past that did not have at least some discussion amongst two, three, or even more (volunteer, uncompensated) hub leaders beforehand.
just b/c something is not spread rampantly across the forum doesn't mean it's not ever discussed.
it's not an easy balancing act, but what has to take absolute unwavering priority is maintaining quality and keeping this forum from descending into a cesspool.
