My view. Ownership = Control

If you own 51% or more of a company's outstanding stock, I would say you are the owner because you can exert control over the actions of the company. Until then, you are simply one investor among many. Not much different than the handling of financial results of PTSC's prior investments. What and where financial results are reported depends on the ability PTSC has to control the entity.

So, IMO, shareholders are not owners. However, that is not to say that the company does not have obligations to its shareholders. That is a different topic.
