"Why wasn't this done through the standard procedure available to all shareholders?"

Has any shareholder recently submitted their Vita to the board of directors for consideration as a member through the standard procedures available to all shareholders (I am not referring to Mr. Caplan)? If (s)he did, are you privy as to what (s)he was told by the board of directors through their attorney?
