Clos, I am not comparing Afrezza to Bydureon or any other drug except in how they are marketed. I had a substantial position in Amylin and and even greater position in MNKD. So, why are you making up this crap that I am comparing diabetes drug effectiveness?
Bydureon is a once a week injection. After my phase 3 trial I was not allowed to continue on Bydureon and took a once a day injection of Victoza. Relatively painless, but because of how much I travel it was inconvienant.
I also did not say pharma reps get no training. They get extensive training in product knowledge. They get very little (if any) in soft skills (relationships). Prove me wrong. I have trained in over 40 different industries and have yet to find a company that emphasises relationship building. Are you going to tell me that pharma reps have easy access to doctors and focus on building relationships? Sure they do. I'll take the word of my father (40+ years in big pharma) and pharma reps I meet in my travels over your word any day.
And tell me which drugs were advertised in the print media, television and radio 15-20 years ago. It is a fairly recent that pharma marketed prescription medication directly to consumers. Or, prove me wrong.
You seem to have some chip on your shoulder.
