Jcwillis has made many good points on the issues around revoked shares and resuming trading; it is not as simple as we might like and may or may not occur -- only time will tell.

But that issue has nothing to do with existing shareholders collecting their appropriate share of any eventual award payout, aside from convenience.

It would certainly be convenient to be able to sell a listed share to someone willing to buy and hold the shares until the ultimate payout like in any arbitrage on a buyout type situation.

Shareholders have legal rights that are not impacted in any way by not trading, and the company still has legally enforceable obligations to its shareholders that it is certainly aware of and always has been. Short of a decree that the shares are extinguished from a competent court, those rights will remain.

Have none of you ever owned shares in an entity that is not exchange traded?

And why do so many worry about things that are so far down the road? Let's just get this arbitrator challenge dealt with and move on, for us time is money.

Perhaps you all had better luck than me finding Christmas presents during the recent sales, my present pressure still looms large.
