I would not read much more into the extension, CUU is just assisting the small investors who participated.

A 12-month warrant extension request submitted to the TSX would require imo an explanation from the company of a solid, compeling reason why such underwater warrants merit an extention...

um, this is a TSX sanctioned extension #2 of $1.00 warrants...

Can anyone point to this ever happening before? If so, please specify which stock and scenario ...
