I appreciate that this post is only your opinion. But no one has been able to show how gold bullion can possibly be used for tranactions such as you describe. The logistics are simply to difficult to deliver such vast sums of bullion. There would have to be some paper or elctronic substitute which we have now, money.

As far as Tesoro is concerned if it is as valuable as we believe and given the type of anarchy that some on this board believe is coming. Why would Peru acknowledge the ownership of the property or taking it one step farther why would China just not take it over?

I appreciate that this far fetched but so is the article referred to
