The remainder of the disputed language requires that the device use only flash memory, not RAM or any other memory system, while engaging the CODEC, DSP (as applicable), and memory control functions, as well as storing the fully-manipulated data.

That makes no sense, analog to digital conversion(AD converter) happens prior to being stored on a memory device.....same happens for read back, the digital storage is converted back to analog signal through (DA converter)

AD or DA does not happen within the flash...

I have no idea what is up with the opinion....the flash is simply used for digital storage having a particular format.
