It's clear from the filings that they need money, not just for forward projects like the leach system, drilling, and the Sinker, but to pay off their current debts. Don't know if those debts will wait until the leach system can be up and running, and with PQ in charge I sure wouldn't bet on that being done any time soon. I agree w/ Macod and everyone else that SFMI needs both money and a change in management. And as I've said before, I doubt that anyone will give them significant money without a change in management.

If they were to get money and bring in real mining people, I think other investors (read: AS) would be more likely to throw in additional funds. Based on the PR, I think at least some of the money they get will be a loan using the value of the ore piles as collateral.
