Technically it is NOT a Lie! They did not say that NRE will not be in 2017. They are saying that sales of AOC are expected in 2018. NRE should be received before that. Anyway my understanding of NRE is that it is a payment prior to licencing but who will licence if POET is a supplier?
Subjectively it is a big lie. My hope is that one day PTK will trade on technicals rather than emotions. Also it is not greatest news that they need more money. Much better news will be a partner helping us get there. Long term PTK might be better off if everything is done in the house for what money is needed now but personally i am way past point long term (6yrs for me) and would love to see something short term like tomorrow.
My only bet against them is my age. I am much younger than management and will leave my core position till the end.
My conclusion; sky is still up and we are still down.
