Have a look at the cited references! Here we can see the state of the art. What did other researchers and companies so far in this field of technology?
Since 2005 there is noone but Geoff Taylor and the UCONN, ODIS/OPEL/POET!
Like Lucky Luke, the lonesome cowboy. All this technology is in one hand! Compare this with the situation of Si-semiconductors, or with other disruptive technologies/comanies! WOW!
This will have a huge impact on revenues of POET!
When (not if!) the POET technology will find its way into the mainstream semiconductor industry, ALL competitors in this field will have to license the technology. I can not see any possibility to work around these patents. There is no way to work faster / more economic = competitive then using the monolytic approach. All in one.
