His reasoning is narrow, overly simplistic and uninformed. If he was 65 and did 4 stints as CEO with various different semiconductor firms - and actually read and understood the material - it would hold much more weight....but I think we talking a young internet writer who is given a few bucks to post articles. It is amazing the sure handed wisdom he has acquired in such a position.
People like Joel validate legitimacy based on other people decisions vs making that assessment on their own. He follows the heard...
Last, he appears to have over inflated sense of importance and intelligence. This can happen to folks in the media at times.
