in response to Ringer's message

Looks like the federal politicians do not get it.
Noront's proposed Eagle mine is fairly immune to metal prices due to it's combined richness of four metals. They are using the chromite as an excuse for not doing anyhing.

Mining in the Ring would give returns to the governments in the form of taxes but instead of funding such developments they are throwing money at noisy native communities that not only do not provide return on money invested but ask for more. Mining should provide jobs and income to a few communities who in turn should be able to imptove their own infrastructure on their own, but no that can not be.

Finally, we were told in the past that Feds needed a plan from Ontario and that was the cause of the delay. From this article we must conclude that the previous excuse was just plain b.s.

I guess we Noront's investors should put on feathered hats, go on to Ottawa and complain that we have unsafe water.

Some Christmas present. Ed. p.s. Wishing you all a better Christmas than it looks this far and pleny of luck in the New Year.
