I too felt this way.

They were putting the whole concept on the table and depending on which company you were in the ring it reflected well on you or it didn't based on what land you had staked.

They've never described the theory so exactly before, even showing it in relation to the other staked grounds.

I felt he was saying that the offshots were the shallow points that made the minerals accessible while the river running throughout the whole of the ROF might be quite deep. The tentacles allows us to put a straw into the body. He mentioned 'open at depth' twice I think whe referring to Eagle One. And they have been drilling some monster deep holes lately. They are looking for more near surface I believe.
