It could be an issue of a merger, a joint venture or mutual spinoff, or simply negotiating with a third party. When you're cutting up a pie, you can't serve two competing interests at the same time. More for one is less for the other.

I wouldn't be too surprised if we get an insight into the nature of the negotiations before the end of the year. I'm also sure that's precisely why Rosseau wanted to replace the board. Two seats just wouldn't quench their greed sufficiently.

I also don't think that Irwin will follow through on his threat to dump the SP down to 0.20. That's a good "photo op" type of propaganda, to exaggerate his ruthlessness, but we're too close to seeing a deal put together for him to walk away.....unless he's forced to liquidate by redemption pressures.
