Endeavour had access to corporate and financial data but not to technical material as far as I am aware. That case is still in the courts as you probably realise.
It was always my opinion that Venezuela put RML up to that low ball T/O offer simply to get GRZ's data and to eliminate the chance of an arbitration case, probably in return for the Brisas concession. RML failed to deliver so Hugo didn't give up Brisas to them.. It's always possible that RML will try something similar with KRY for the same reasons.
I see a lot of illogical speculation that the Chinese may pay for KRY's arbitration case.
What would they have to gain by that. They would piss off Hugo big time just when they have all this multi billion dollar oil deals going, and the payoff from KRY even if they won the case years down the track would be piddling in comparison. My guess is that the Chinese will walk away, and do another deal at another time on their own terms once the baggage of LC and LB has been dealth with.
They don't have to wait for any legal issue now both LB and LC are available to whoever can do the best deal with Hugo.
