So, I wonder why they would be in blackout if they were just "discussing" the back in agreements with Teck? Imo, I think negotiations are happening now. If Teck is getting ready to buy us out they have to make their move soon to be able to complete it within the next 120 days. Looking at other examples of buyouts, it seems to me that a period of 45 - 60 days are common to close the deal ( from announcement to shareholders taking a vote). Here`s hoping this is indeed what is happening.
