My mind hasn't changed. I'm just VERY fatigued with this process.
(I think I bought once... even those are under water.)
I am completely transitioning my portfolio into big(ger) companies... this will be the last venture company I sell.
TCK, POT, AGR, RY, etc. Dividends are fun. Not sexy and no big returns, but I'm nauseated by the ride and I'd like to get out the first chance I get.
I would gladly take a third of that today, chalk it up to a lesson (very expensively) learned, and move on.
Why is Elmer transitioning out of Boxxer? To spend more time in Arizona? To spend all his time negotiating with Teck? Because it's time for him to close up shop and retire, and this is the easy first step?
I know it's a signal, but the question is... what's the signal MEAN?
Because buying back 1% of the outstanding shares does nothing.
Buying 40% of a deposit with enough options to have a controlling interest is something.
I like the acquisition... I'd like a bit more commentary on how this piece fits into the puzzle though.
Nom nom nom...
... another 10K shares that won't see the light of day for a LONG time.
