Okay, for newbs, there are two distinct curiosities with respect to "called-off" drilling in 2012:

1 - The early-season cancellation of Phase II drilling before it even started

2 - The late-season decision to send in drills that took 3 days to send in and set-up only for them to be cancelled and sent home before they started turning (this is more curious one)

I can't understand either decision unless Teck had a say in it, and that woudn't happen without certain concessions from Teck imo.

I otherwise don't buy any explanation relating to the "economics" of cancelling the drilling plans that were "economic" just days prior.
