Yes, but you could have at least 1/3 of the company's shares retired and removed from the float and dilutive / distributive market forces. That would inturn immediately raise the value of your present shares by at least 1/3, and make owning our fewer remaining shares more desirable; especially in a dividend paying environment.

That's for starters ....
