Sorry, not sure where you are coming from either. I don't recall that there has even been oral argument in the appellate court yet, and, if that is accurate, then the case is nowhere near ready for a ruling to issue. However, the appellate court will not make a decision once it has been notified of a settlement, even the initial notification. Remember, the whole point of giving notification is so that the appellate court need NOT rule. Typing from my phone while watching the Saints, will check in after the game.
