I think that's the whole point. Nobody has great concern over who is running the Company if it is making lots of money and the share price is in reasonable accord with expectation, because it is then assumed that the officers and directors are making the correct decisions so as to create and sustain shareholder value. Conversely, when there has been no creation of shareholder value over a number of years and shareholder value has in fact plummeted, it would not be unreasonable to conclude that the officers and directors are likewise responsible --- one thing is certain, which is that the situation wasn't produced by the retail shareholders.
