What makes you think EDIG will not get anything from SAMSUNG?

These new technologies/pending patents/NUNCHI munchies are outside the realm of the Flash-R patent settlement case.

It is possible that the cross licensing agreement opened doors for EDIG to showcase their new tech offerings, but as for new tech in new applications, this is an entirely new ball game.
