'Noront had the right idea'???? If so, why did they offer such an insultingly low valuation of FWR chromite against their own shares? Come on Crazydik, even the most extreme Noty should by now have come to realise just how valuable the chromite actually is.
If NOT was serious they could have offered a realistic ratio of their shares to FWR shares, and by now the combined company (FWR/NOT) would be showing a pretty good share price, with FWR's chromite & the lesser value of NOT's deposits in one package.
Certainly a combined SPQ and KWG will carry quite a decent bit of clout and should be valued higher than the two separate companies. These two companies do have a proper degree of respect for the value of each other's assets, and see the sense of combining for the benefit of the shareholders of both companies, rather than solely for the benefit of one set of shareholders against the other.
I have voted my 450,000 shares of SPQ for the merger.
Maybe we should run a tally of shares voted by those willing to disclose their positions?
