I can cut them a bit of slack, I own a small business and 4 years ago I bought a building and was going to expand into it, I told quite a few vendors that we would expand, order more parts, buy more equipment, I fully intended to do that - now the building is up for sale and the plan is out the window !

I lost a partner due to illness and that threw a huge wrench in the works, we had good plans and none of them have happened.

Perhaps a lot of what we percieve as lies are the same type of thing, intentional deception is one thing but being unable to deliver on a business plan due to set backs is another.

I still believe we will win this one, once they get enough funding we will drill, explore and develop, perhaps its just a matter of time till the flotation unit brings in revenue - once there is a consistant stream of revenue investors will love us.
