Silver, even you have to admit that Dundee, through various funds and holdings, has a major stake in SGR. It doesn't take a tinfoil hat to see that that Mr. Pirie is their guy, and I'm sure you, with your mesh-back on forwards sees that as well.

The question we're debating here is "why?". Why now, after all this time? Given their ownership stake, they could have made this happen at any time over the last 3 years. The only answer I see is a languishing share price as the POG made new highs. It gave them all the ammunition they needed as the Board sat along the long table. You made a good point awhile back about the private placement holders probably being unhappy as their $4.05/share investment tanked while a bunch of moose pasture explorers rocketed upwards. Enough was enough, as they say. I don't think it needs to be any more complicated than that.
