I'm shocked that there is no security to insure against theft at the mine! while working in Giant in the 60's two thieves lived in the bunkhouse at the time! One stole gold from the mill, the other's intent was to steal high grade off the muck pile. The first was very successful stealing, by his accoutrement, a half an oz/day, the other moving on to Discovery where he was told you could see gold when the muck was washed. (you couldn't see gold at Giant) His theft moved from the muck pile two to two bars of gold from Discovery!
When he returned from Discovery with the two bars in hand he hung out at the Goldrange where he entertained the boys to free booze for a day or so before leaving for points unknown. He was caught several years later running a ranch in Australia, returned to Canada where he served his time. rumor was most of the gold was never recovered! Sounds like temptation is rampant at San with with a great percentage recovered as raw gold from the gravity table! Every person moving on or off the propery should be searched/weighed, no exceptions! Management is either very naive or they are the guilty parties! Ruf

Charade, there are no friends in a poker game! Mind you management holds the AA's so their advantage is considerable (a stacked deck!) and they own the dealer button! Their goal is all the chips so whether family and friends are delt in as winners is a good question! IMHO, they'd break" granny if the opportunity presented itself.

SAN isn't alone in this game! Together they have damn near killed the "goose" that was laying the "Golden Eggs!"
