It's all about priorities. If you prioritize something, you inevitably posteriorize everything else. That is, if POET would give prioritity 1 to a stock exchange change, product development would inevitably be priority 2 at best and the products would come to market later. Would you really want that? I know I don't!
What's even more important than delayed revenue: Any delay makes our "window of opportunity" smaller. Suresh talked about this at the AGM 2015. Competition doesn't sleep, and we know that at least two teams have successfully grown gallium arsenide nano lasers on silicon. Sure, this is still in R&D stage and our window of opportunity will be open for several year. But you bet it is closing, and each additional month we can utilize to build our business undisturbed and to keep or enhance our lead is precious!
Management is fully aware of this and therefore fully focused on what is really important. Getting distracted by playing exchange change games? No way!
