It is a strange question? None of us work at Wavetek or at POET that I know of so no it unlikely that anyone on this forum has witness the actually testing of chips. In 2012 we did a lab tour at UCONN where we met with all the PHDs with each presenting an overview of POET. There we did have an opportunity to see early test results and view one of the early IR detectors produced at BAE.
I think if anyone is interested in visiting the facilities at San Jose or at Denselight POET would facilitate that. I do know of one person on this board who has been to the San Jose facility.
I would suggest that if you are interested in witnessing a test station with a POET chip being probed then make a request to Robert Ferri.
