As a matter of fact the FN also worked for everything they got. They even showed your ancestors how to survive the winters in N.A. when they first came over. White folks rewarded them with slaughtering their people early on, then breaking their families apart putting them into residential schools along with other assorted crimes that today we put people away for a long time for.
