FN Resolution requires same treatment and sensitivity as a PTSD patient. No matter what the cause, FN symptons are similar. There are two issues: 1) Often when one has post traumatic stress disorder, you end up treating others similarly as you feel. Brutality, neglect, trust-violations, and betrayals. This generates it's own shame, guilt, and avoidance. Avoidance usually involves self-destructive practices: suicide, drinking, drugs, anf brain-damaging neurotoxins. Healing requires courage and group support. 2) first nation in the Americas, blacks in the US, and Middle East Clans are divided and offer no group support. Chinese and Latinos have gone through similar rape of land and culture, but their cultures tend to be united and group healing practices occur from family to society. FN cultures have a history of feuding clans and divisiveness. They lack cohesion for the group support. This is why we often see destructive behavior in First Nations and United States black communities. There is a theory out there that believes the best solution is assimilation into existing support groups-not isolation -that can rehabilitate self-esteem within communities. The mining business can bring jobs which is the first step. Also creating Veteran Association-like support centers would be the second step. Any mining institution that incorporated a mental health institution along with the jobs would win the hearts and souls of the FN as well as land use. Understanding the land has nothing to do with FN history, it has everything to do with healing the living. Respect the living, and the land use will follow easily. This boils down to a simple concept: a child wants his daddy home for dinner, not a PTSD man to be fed. Focus on this and mining access opens up for all to make a profit.
