"Both zones of nickel sulphide mineralization were identified by a new, ground-based geophysical survey that was completed in November. In light of the results, management decided to expand the survey area to include the Eagle Two and AT12 areas,"

So clearly NOT was holding back information, however, it was done to further investigate and provide a more clear picture of what they found. It answers the questions as to why the long wait.....at least part of it. Another company might have put out a pr to express exciting new interests from the GB survey in order to attract interest.
