Noront Resources

High-grade Ni-Cu-Pt-Pd-Au-Ag-Rh-Cr-V discoveries in the "Ring of Fire" NI 43-101 Update (March 2011): 11.0 Mt @ 1.78% Ni, 0.98% Cu, 0.99 gpt Pt and 3.41 gpt Pd and 0.20 gpt Au (M&I) / 9.0 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inf.)

Wild stuff. Anyone know where this Black Creek Chromite is?

At first read I thought they were referring to Blackbird Chromite deposit which would have appeared to be absurd.

I guess they like what they see along the Probe/Noront border.

Good to see another chess piece moved in the 'consolidation' of the ROF, but I'm not sure what to make of this move other than that I would expect we should see a drill on these new claims if we are able to drill this winter...and that maybe Probe wants to be taken out by Cliffs rather than Noront. Or, simply be the last tiny piece ileft over in a big messy puzzle.
