pretty clear that NOTs sp is being held down for what ever the reason. One thing for sure is that if NOT expects a rise in the sp to stick and to rise to a level that will assuage takeover interests on the cheap, they'll have to have reports that are of such significance as to create a momentum that will burnout any attempts to neutralize a rising sp. I'd say it would need to be the kind of news that would move 15 - 20 mil shares per day. With the diminishing number of shorts it would appear that some are preparing to get out of the way of this prospect and will likely sell into the tsunami to later buy in after re-taking short postions.... but this will be at much larger numbers.
