With regard to the tendered shares to Noront, they most likely did their part.
Where there could be a fault is with the transfer agents or brokers.
Consider the possibility that you never owned any Freewest shares.
Not only could you be the subject of shorted shares that have not been covered yet or perhaps covered late and the shares are not the kind that they should be nor of the correct company, as far as you are concerned. i.e. You think you are entitled noront shares but they are now Cliffs.

But an even worse state:
You could be a subject of naked shorting. Now here is a can of worms.
In this case Noront and the transfer agent do not know that you exist.
Try to collect on this situation.

Goldman is rumoured to be hip deep in gold/$ manipulation. Morgan in silver.
Don't over look the possibility of Xstrata or Vale poking their finger into Noront through some agency.

We are just November leaves being rattled by the winds.
