Yes, that's why sp up and down affected by all the factors. But for people like me, a little fish in a small pond, do we have to understand all these in order to make money? Maybe not. The "trend" I refer to is the SP trend, which is what the most people care.

If you can't stand the daily fluctuation but really like the big picture, buy and hold. If you can, try to make money along the wave.
