There has been some numbers bandied about that the take over companies should be offering. I would suggest that for a company like NOT to be successful it would need to amalgamate properties as cheaply as possible in order to get a decent dollar from a major. Thus no entity is going to flamboyantly flash cash around. Every company will hold onto it's every penny to protect their financial health. In this financial environment those that have weathered the fiasco we've been through are going to be twice shy. For the majors, better to pay a little more later perhaps and know what you've got, letting the explorers do all of the work and provide the feasibility work thus being much closer to production and of course profit. I see interested parties moving very slowly not withstanding an extra-ordinary circumstance. QUC has been touted as potentially the next world class leading REE stock and is likely to be snatched up. In spite of it's recent rocket in sp, no one is stepping up to the plate yet. I suspect very careful movements will be the order of the day. NOT and CLFs moves are very early ones and necessary ones in the evolution of the ROF, but like the Fall of 07 with many people thinking NOT would rocket to the moon and keep going, things will move more slowly than most expect or certainly wish. This is not to say that there isn't money to be made. Now on the other hand, NOT could step out two weeks from now and state that &^%$# has bought in at $6 for 30%. How would you feel about that? We all wait to see.
