While we are "idle speculating" can anyone explain what all the fooferaw is about "hostile takeover" and "merger" and the other variants? Is Noront in the process of committing an illegal act or acts? When we were kids, a common saying was: "All's Fair in Love and War" and this was supposed to be a show stopper/end of discussion. Now, I thought the principle aim of business was to make money, any way you can, as long as it was legal. Big business, of course, pays lip service to "Ethics", but is it a guiding light? No.

Point out any illegality, comment on a breach of eithics, but when a company is doing something relatively common in the normal course of business, why make such a fuss about it? This ends up being a stupid form of special pleading, IMHO.
