I agree with you, Dony & Sudbury Novice. To a point. Speculation has to be worth something. How much it is worth is different to each of us. I guess I think there's more to be found up there in dem hills. And the VAST difference in land holdings is NON-trivial. IMO. I am happy to agree to disagree. It is a good debate to have.
In the end, I think we will all prosper regardless of what happens. I just hold much more NOT than I do FWR. And the idea of severe dilution is not fun to me. I really don't see FWR's future being worth even a quarter of NOT's future. That's why it's a good deal to me. I could be wrong. But I think FWR needs NOT more than the other way around.
For the record... I like Mac, and it would be nice to keep him around in a "merger" situation.

I appreciate your post. To me speculation is worth something depending on what one is speculating about and you are right that it is different for each of us but all of this is not the issue.
The issue is for all of us to make money and have fun doing it. We speculate and show some favouritism but when one holds shares of both or in this case many plays, it is very difficult to really put your heart behind one play or another. We could be mad at a play as some with NOT but at the same time love it. Same with FWR. Love the company and the team running it, the properies etc... but I hate the fact that it has seldom if ever been over 40 cents. So its a 2 way street. Right now Snez, and you know this, it has been FWR management. Stellar. With nOT we had a rough ride and the jury is still out on Wes. may not be for you or me but this is true for many. He pulls something positive out of all this , his stakes go up sharply.
So in the end this is all good for us. We beg to differ on certain issues but I dare say our goals are all the same.
