On large caps and on the overall market I'd agree that for the most part you are right.

On small caps while useful, TA isn't nearly as important. Many people agree that news on hole 49 was leaked prior to when Noront officially released it. Which gave us our original move from 60 cents to $3.

You could just as easily ask what was the technical analysts reason for why it started to move up from 60 cents? Sure trending works for after the initial move but, what started it?

We didn't move up after the release of hole 49 because, while the news was amazing it was already priced in at the $2.70-3 range.
