Actual Doing if the Assays is the FASTEST part of the Process.
Thousands of Individual Sample Assays ARE Completed in any given DAY.
Logging the Cores once taken from the Drill thake much longer. But that is at the Front End.
Compiling the Assay Results and Studying their Significance with respect to the Logs would require some time by the Office Geologists. Discussing the Results with the Office Operations Manager would require some more time.
Having the Office Operations Manager and Office Geologists discuss particulars respecting the Compiled Assay Results with both the Assay Lab and the Field Geologists who did the Logging would require some more time.
With these steps completed, more time would be needed to inform the CEO. The CEO may want to then inform the Directors, though this is typicall often not a requirement as the CEO Typically has been charged with overseeing these Day to Day Responsibilities.
The CEO would then Task the Qualified Person (either him/her self, a Geologist, or the Office Operations Officer, or who ever) to create the NR Write Up. Have this NR Discussed with the others involved in this process that are designated to Proff Read the NR and have corrections/suggestions incorporated into the NR.
Then the CEO would have to look over the Final Draft and Approve it.
Finally, the CEO would decide who he/she would share the NR Contents with. Share this NR with these others (likely one or more of the Directors and whoever else the BoD have specified in advance) aᵨnd pick the Time to Publish the NR. Then follow up on doing the NR.
Each of the Post Assay steps can take as little as a day or tow but can require up to many days depending on how busy the individuals involved are during this period of time. And the Timing of the NR can lag the other aspects of Post Assaying by what ever time frame the CEO deems is required based on other aspects of properly managing the Project and or the Company.
So, PLEASE everyone, Stop claiming that the Assay step takes Soooo Longggg.
Actual Turn Around Time of the Assaying is rather VERY Quick!
As it definitely is the Fastest part of the Process, and this is incluting the Preparation of Samples being sent to be Assayed)

PS: Seems that some do not understand that Rock is Rock and not some type of Organic Creature wraped in Hairy Skin. Thus if Core is Organic the Gizmo is useless? Yes/No! If Rock ????
