Great article and post Roos. I always thought the FED was a Gov't agency and am surprised to learn it is in fact a Quasi Public Banking system. First thing that came to my mind was, no wonder Kennedy was assassinated, he was about to change the status Quo and the balance of financial power. Hopefully with what is going on in the world today, (markets) this will come to the forefront and not be “nonchalantly buried every time it comes up” as pointed out by Bertacurry. Maybe, just maybe, the present financial crisis will bring this out into the daylight and put an end to such practice. It’s unbelievable the US government would allow such a thing to occur.
